The 2018 Annual Celebration Luncheon will take place on April 25th at the Hotel Murano Bicentennial Pavilion and will feature keynote speaker Sonya Renee Taylor.

Sonya is the Founder and “Radical Executive Officer” of The Body is Not An Apology, an international movement and organization committed to radical self-love and body empowerment as the foundational tool for social justice and global transformation. Believing in the power of art as a vehicle for social change, Sonya has been widely recognized for her work as a change agent. She is an award-winning performance poet, activist and transformational leader who has mesmerized audiences across the globe with her powerful poetry, lectures and workshops. Sonya speaks on a wide range of topics including internalized oppression, racial justice, women and feminism, and violence against women.
