Join us at The Grand Cinema for a screening of short film THE NEW FRONTIER followed by Q&A with director Kanani Koster on Thursday, April 25 at 2:00pm and 6:30pm as we continue the Tacoma Community College Diversity Film Series. Plays with student short films.

THE NEW FRONTIER explores and honors people of color’s histories and contributions to our country specifically from 1860-1895 a.k.a. the Old West. By subverting tropes and reclaiming classic American symbolism we hope to highlight the badass heroes we needed as kids.
