Tacoma Light Trai invites you to come ring in the New Year on December 31st from 6-10PM.

Enjoy a light parade that begins with a flaming dragon parage from the UWT that leads to fire dancing, DJ music, puppets, dance, interactive light art, community art-making, food trucks, NYE countdown with Tacoma’s Sister City Cienfuegos, Cuba and more! Event will happen rain or shine at Tollefson Plaza.

The festival will continue to light up downtown through Jan. 14, 2024 with a light and sound Trail, live indoor events and a Lighted Bike Ride Jan. 4. Light art will be visible 5-9 p.m. every night, and is walkable/rideable/drivable within the downtown core.
