Pierce County and the City of Tacoma are part of a ten-city cohort engaged in “SPARC: Supporting Partnerships for Anti-Racist Communities,” an initiative to better understand the nexus between race and homelessness and develop tools and approaches that will result in more equitable outcomes for all people experiencing homelessness. The initiative combines qualitative and quantitative research and training. This event kicks off our activities.
