The Tacoma Tool Library Presents: Halloween Costume Sewing Workshop with Roby Doherty

Thursday, October 6th, 6pm—8pm
Tacoma Tool Library, 1314 MLK Jr Way

Learn how to make your own Halloween costume! Come with a costume idea, a drawing/picture of the idea, and any fabric materials you plan to use, and we will get you started!
Learn how to create a pattern for your costume or what is needed for the first independent step to making your own costume! The goal of this workshop is to give you the confidence to finish the costume either at home or at TTL, and to have fun! Sewing machines available for use, but feel free to bring your own.
About the instructor: Roby is an experienced seamstress making costumes for Life Center productions, crafting wedding dressed and up-cycling clothing for her own designs. Follow her on Instagram @fabricwizard!

All attendees must be 18 or over. This workshop is free for all, thanks to our donors! Please consider making a donation to TTL to help fund future growth and activities.
