August 1-7 – International Day of Friendship

Make a playdate with a friend to come down to the Children’s Museum and create a friendship necklace in Becka’s Studio! The International Day of Friendship was proclaimed in 2011 by the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures, and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities.

These events are available during regular Children’s Museum of Tacoma hours-
Monday – Members-Only Play Day: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Tuesday – Special Needs Play Day: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (Closed after 11:30 a.m.)
Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
