A few friends were talking and we thought, Wouldn’t it be great to get together with other folks who care about racial equity and radical inclusion and environmental justice and LGBTQ+ rights and affordable housing for all and any number of other equity issues? So that’s what we’re doing. Whether you know everyone doing equity work in Tacoma and Pierce County already or just moved here yesterday, join us for the first Equity Happy Hour.

Let’s talk and laugh, let’s eat and drink, let’s support each other, let’s share burdens, let’s share ideas, let’s collaborate.

This is the first Equity Happy Hour and we’ll keep doing it if people seem into it, but it’s an evolving thing. The name can change, the location can change, the format can change. Let’s make these decisions together. This is something we’re building together.

PS. 7 Seas is an all ages space. Food and drinks are for sale. We’ll stay at least until 7 (later if we’re having fun, which we assume we will be) so you don’t need to show up right at 5. Do what works for you.
