Creative Construction Challenge!

November 17, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

$5 – $17

Families can work together to make something new and unusual at the History Museum’s Creative Construction Challenge! Participants will receive a set of “themed ingredients” – hint: come early and take a look at the Makerspace in our exhibit Make/Do to get an idea of the materials you’ll get to work with. Use your ingredients and your imagination to build a unique creation! You’ll have one hour to work together to complete your design and then compete for prizes. Have fun and make memories together!

This family-friendly activity celebrates our exhibition Make/Do: A History of Creative Reuse. See 180 fantastical and practical objects and artifacts crafted through reuse, and learn about the history of reuse in Washington. On the fifth floor.
