Building Agreements: Negotiating and Facilitation Skills Training (3 days)

September 21, 2016 @ 6:00 am

Would you like formal training in facilitating parties to work to resolve conflicts? Center for Dialog & Resolution (aka Pierce County Center for Dispute Resolution) is offering a Washington Mediation Association-approved 40-hour course teaching the process of mediation, communication skills and conflict dynamics to promote peaceful and constructive approaches to conflict and its resolution. Whether in the workplace, home, or in our community, this course will explore skills that can be used in all aspects of your life.

Our course is approved by the Washington State Bar Association for 38.25 CLE credits (7 ethics) for attorneys. It is also approved by the Washington Chapter, National Association of Social Workers, so social workers, marriage and family therapists, and licensed mental health counselors can receive 37.5 CEU credits (provider number 1975-278). Trainees who have completed the course are eligible to begin the mediation practicum at the Center for Dialog & Resolution to become a certified mediator (but are under no obligation to do so).

The course will be held September 21-23 at our office in downtown Tacoma. For more information, or if you have questions, please visit our website at www.centerforresolution.org or call us at (253) 572-3657.
