Whether it’s your first time ever seeing bonsai in person or you are a devoted bonsai practitioner, BonsaiFest! offers delights to everyone of all ages. Come to Pacific Bonsai Museum on May 7 and 8 (Mother’s Day weekend) to see hundreds of beautiful bonsai at the height of spring blooms. See three bonsai exhibitions: ’A Gallery of Trees: Living Art of Pacific Bonsai Museum’; a Retrospective exhibition featuring bonsai created by local bonsai master/author David De Groot; and the Puget Sound Bonsai Association’s Spring Show.

Watch live bonsai demonstrations, talk to bonsai artists about their craft, take a Docent-led tour of the collection, and take an audio tour of the collection. Shop for bonsai books and gifts for the nature-lover, partake in fun food and beverages, and enjoy activities for kids and families. Have your picture taken on Mother’s Day (May 8) by our BonsaiFest! photographer to send to someone as a special Mother’s Day greeting. Open to the public. Free.
