Communities In Schools of Peninsula will host its annual Birthday Bash fundraising event on August 23, 2018 to help fund programs and resources that the organization brings to hundreds of youth inside schools  in the  Peninsula School District. This year’s theme is “Birthday Bash Celebrating Jack Sparrow”.  Held at the waterfront homes of Jim Borgen and Brett and Kathy Davis-Hayfield in Gig Harbor, the party will feature island fare, tropical drinks, and tunes by the band “Sounds Like Delores”.  Feel free to dress up to the Jack Sparrow theme!
