Board Chair & Finance Committee, Goodwill of Olympics & Rainier Region, 2015 – 16. Past President, Exec Committee, American Leadership Forum, Tacoma / Pierce County Chapter, 2014 – 2015 Board Member& Past President & Board Member, Tacoma Community College Foundation, 2004 – 2017 Past President (2011-2012), and member of the Tacoma Sunrise Rotary Club, Tacoma, WA, 2006 – Present Past President, Board Member, Tacoma Arts Live (Broadway Center for Performing Arts), 1999 - 2008 & 2013 – 2022

Outside of GTCF, what enjoyable activity do you engage in? What brings you joy?

Traveling throughout the western United States judging amateur and professional bodybuilding events (NPC/IFBB). I get to meet some of the most interesting people from all walks of life.

What activity, place, or event do you recommend other people check out in Pierce County?

Attending performances at Tacoma Arts Live; Outdoor exercising throughout Pierce County and Greater Tacoma.

What is the most inspiring book that you have read and why?

So many to choose from, but one that immediately comes to mind is Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill - Why? It was a book I read back in my High School Advance Literature class. I feel the material then about how to thrive in difficult and challenging economic times holds true given the current state of the economy.
