Briefly describe what you do in your role with GTCF
I serve on the Ambassador Committee
What is the most exciting part of your role with GTCF?
I'm excited to be part of a group that is guiding investment initiatives for the vital work needed for thriving and resilient communities in Pierce County.
What other jobs or positions have you held?
Since the pandemic, my role as CEO at GoodRoots has been consuming. However, I also attend all our community coalitions, summits, youth forums at schools, and the Pierce County Agriculture Commission.
Outside of GTCF, what enjoyable activity do you engage in? What brings you joy?
My 14-year-old daughter, riding my electric scooter, and doing anything by the water.
What activity, place, or event do you recommend other people check out in Pierce County?
I love the Ruston Way waterfront, Point Defiance Park, Vashon Island, and the Foothills Trail system.
What is the most inspiring book that you have read and why?
The Tipping Point - because I love human behavior and the concept of ideas spreading rapidly.
