Join Foss Waterway Seaport for an intro-level woodworking class for women and nonbinary folks Sunday, October 22.2023 10-4pm, instructed by Alice Clabaugh (she/her), a graduate from the Wood Technology Marine Carpentry program.
In this one-day class, you will learn how to use an assortment of woodworking power and hand tools to fabricate a toolbox. You will be guided through transferring measurements from paper plans, cutting lumber to length, and assembling it into a finished product. Join us in the Heritage Boat Shop to explore the basics of woodworking in a hands-on, mentorship-based class, and take your new toolbox home!
