When did you start working with Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (GTCF)?

August of 2017

Briefly describe what you do in your role with GTCF

I manage the physical office and try to keep everyone happy.

What is the most exciting part of your role with GTCF?

Getting to meet all of the people who interact with GTCF and experiencing their passion for change and improvement is very exciting and always leaves me hopeful.

What other jobs or positions have you held?

I have been the office manager at an entertainment agency and a high-end jewelry store.

Outside of GTCF, what enjoyable activity do you engage in? What brings you joy?

I participate in Community Theater as an actor and stage manager. I also enjoy reading and writing science fiction.

What activity, place, or event do you recommend other people check out in Pierce County?

We have an abundance of Community Theater groups in Pierce County. Check out Tacoma Little Theater, Tacoma Musical Playhouse, and Lakewood Playhouse to name a few.

What is the most inspiring book that you have read and why?

The Dune series by Frank Herbert was my introduction to science fiction in high school and they have filled me with a joy of reading for the rest of my life.
