When did you start working with Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (GTCF)?

February 2017

Briefly describe what you do in your role with GTCF

In the role of Philanthropic Services Coordinator at GTCF, I provide project support, research and reporting, and help organize events that educate and celebrate our community.

What is the most exciting part of your role with GTCF?

The most exciting part of my role is building relationships with donors, nonprofits, and citizens in Pierce County by supporting their philanthropic goals and helping them realize their vision for a thriving community. Working in such a vibrant environment means no two days at GTCF are ever the same.

What other jobs or positions have you held?

Donor Retention & Stewardship Coordinator at Pacific Lutheran University

Outside of GTCF, what enjoyable activity do you engage in? What brings you joy?

In my free time, I love to spend time in the garden with my husband, adding to the flora and tending to our growing fruits and vegetables. We also enjoy retreating to the waterfront for walks (coffee in-hand!) and traveling across Washington to cities, parks, and beautiful sights we have never seen before.

What activity, place, or event do you recommend other people check out in Pierce County?

If you have a free afternoon in Pierce County, I recommend spending it at Point Ruston where you can grab dinner, go for a scenic walk, catch a movie, and finish the evening at Ice Cream Social.
