Since 2014, several senior living communities have come together to help North Tacoma and Gig Harbor residents find a community that will fit lifestyle, location and budget. On March 13 and March 20, participants can tour life plan continuing care retirement communities, not-for-profit communities, independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing.

The March 13 tour will feature three communities: Eliseo, Franke Tobey Jones, and Heron’s Key. The March 20 tour will feature five communities: Cogir at the Narrows, GenCare Point Ruston Merrill, Gardens Tacoma Merrill, Gardens at Wright Park, and Weatherly Inn.

Participants can choose to join the tour on either March 13, March 20 or reserve a seat for both days.
Transportation will be provided.

Each day will begin at 9:45 a.m and go until 3 p.m. Participants can either utilize the community van to drive from place to place or use their own transportation. Seats on the van are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Please RSVP for the tour whether you are planning to use the community van or your own transportation.

During the tour, participants will hear presentations, ask their questions, and meet with current residents. Please wear comfortable shoes because there will be lots of walking during the event.
